A peer-to-peer network is a group of user-oriented PCs that operate as equals. Each Workstation is called a peer. But with no server attached they must share the data between computers. Because of the lack of a server every pc is responsible for its own protection. Small businesses (fewer than 10 machines) can work well in this configuration but if security is an issue then this is never a good idea for your business.
Advice:- Is your company planning to grow in the future? Will you need access to all data all the time? Is Your Business computer intensive? Is Security top priority?
If you answer yes to any of the questions why not have a look at our server based network.
If your company has only the need for a couple of computers or you want to network your home pc’s this is the choice for you but if there is any chance for future growth in computer needs it might be best to invest in the future.
